For the past few weeks, Valdis Krumins and the rest of us at Bridgit: Your social life, settled, and Priscilla Young and team at San Francisco Chamber of Commerce have been working 24/7 to ship what we promised to San Francisco.
Just six+ weeks ago, we told Priscilla, the Events & Programs Manager at the SFCC, that we can do it. She shared her vision of what's needed for Goal Rush, a campaign in progress for the summer of the World Cup.
What we built is a B2B matching for collaborative offerings and events, fan matching into crews, and crew itinerary building and management, so that fans vibe with each other and enjoy the right match viewing places (called Match HQs) and other local places (called Hidden Gems) within 11 districts.
Bridgit keeps fans exploring local businesses, making the city livelier and small businesses healthier. Fans, both locals and visitors, are excited and entertained all day long. Five weeks, 100+ restaurants, pubs, bars, coffee shops, ice cream shops, hobby and entertainment places, and the summer of soccer. More on that here https://lnkd.in/gRbc4ijg.
This shifted how we see Bridgit's GTM, and I am happy about that. Our team and the entire Y·US Ventures collective are best at B2B(2C). So let it be.
Appreciate the early trust in the startup. Thank you, Anita LW Huang, Rodney Fong, Priscilla Young, and the entire group of people, organizations, and companies involved, from the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and Gabriel M. & Katina Tinka Bush, APR @ Segal Communications and Gina Mariko Rosales @ Make It Mariko, to all the local businesses that invested your time in making friends with Bridgit.
Enjoy the summer!
