Have you ever been homeless?

Have you ever been homeless? I did.

For a short period, I was forced to live in the office, and then, when shown out of it, I moved to my car. I didn't have many belongings back then, so they all fit in my Lexus sedan. And I had space to sleep in the front seat. It wasn't sunny Southern California or Spain — it was Northern Europe in the fall.

What did force me to do that? Mainly, my pride. And bad decisions. Or no time for decisions. So, poor self, resource, and time management, if you will.

I can, of course, relate to this as something that added strength and romanticize it as real freedom. But it was not so. It was a struggle. Should I go to my relatives and ask for help? Should I stop caring about everyone else and start thinking of myself? And how tf did I get here?!
