She suggested that I 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻. She proposed drafting one story to try out.
𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, I said, thanking her for thinking of this. - 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚, 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘨𝘦𝘯 𝘈𝘐.
A few hours later, she got back and said, 𝘐 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺.
I read it and decided to give it a go.

Of course, the first one was the first, and some of my audience skipped the repeated message. It's also about when to post and what your audience is doing at that time (LinkedIn's Golden Hour). Still, the experiment reminded me that 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀.
As someone with experience in media relations, albeit from 15-20 years ago, I understand that any kind of media has a certain structure and style. I realize that even this post is too long for LinkedIn. Thanks for reading through, though!
